Molly Jolly
Molly Jolly became the first woman named as Los Angeles Angels president.
Molly became the ninth president of the Los Angeles Angels, and by doing so, she is the first woman in franchise history to hold that position for the MLB club.
During this year’s Women’s History Month (2026), owner Arte Moreno announced that Jolly would replace retiring President John Carpino, making her the only woman in all of Major League Baseball to oversee a team’s business and baseball departments.
That is pretty cool, especially when I was asked to take the new images for her media announcement.
We shot this at Angels Stadium (which was so cool). I felt a childhood awe at being in the stadium and having it as the backdrop for this momentous time.
I wanted to make sure that these photos were of course professional and strong yet show her beauty in a polished way to honor her new position of President. I loved having the Angels stadium for her background.
